The E*CARE project addresses the overall strategic objective of the 'People' Specific Program 'to make Europe more attractive for the best researchers'. It acknowledges its aim for 'further development and consolidation of the European Research Area and 'Strengthening ... the human potential in research and technology in Europe, by ... attracting to Europe researchers from the entire world'. Subsequently, the project objectives and the corresponding activities are fully in line with the 'People' program objectives. It focuses on the objective of the People programme 'Specific actions': 'to support removing obstacles to mobility and enhancing the career perspectives of researchers in Europe.'

Taking into account the aim of the ERA-MORE call, the E*CARE project will substantially contribute to 'enhancing the overall performance of the ERA-MORE network and stimulating cooperation between ERA-MORE members on operational and strategic issues'. Its objectives are targeted at improving the overall coherence and quality of the services offered by the participating MC through the survey on obstacles of career and mobility of researchers, and the clients' appreciation of MC services and role.
