University hosted a seminar on "Flexible Work in Firms - Possibilities
and Gains" on January 30, 2002.
The
seminar was a half-day event jointly organized by Sofia University and
the Bulgarian Telework
Association with two main goals:

to
provide opportunity for clustering between different EU funded projects
as FLEXWORK, IWOP, PROTELEUSES, TOSCA;
-
to
provide room for discussion and update on developments in business applications
and academic research.
The
seminar was attended by more than 40 representatives of private sector,
employment agencies, trade unionists, and researchers.
TOSCA
project was presented by Ass. Prof. Eugenia Kovatcheva. Ms. Kovatcheva
outlined the major goals of the project, current developments and expected
results. Mr. Bojidar Arsov from the Research Institute of the Confederation
of Independent Syndicates in Bulgaria attended the workshop and had the
opportunity for networking with the business community.
