SMEs Innovative Development Following Good Practices of e-Business Solution Implementation

The Centre of Information Society Technologies, Sofia University “St. Kl. Ohridski”, is developing an electronic database where collected and described good practices, revealing successful e-business solutions implementations in Bulgarian SMEs, are published. The main goal of this initiative is to contribute to the Bulgarian industry competitiveness improvement by supporting the innovative processes in the Bulgarian companies, especially the small and medium enterprises that have limited financial and human resources but possess flexible innovation potential. The partnership between representatives of the academic community and industry contributes to increasing their confidence in each other and encourages future cooperation by supporting both sides with new ideas, knowledge and experience in the contemporary dynamic business environment.

 

TThe good e-business practices will serve as successful examples for other SMEs willing to innovate and remain competitive, by providing useful guidelines for choosing and implementing new business software.

 

The collected good e-business practices will be presented at specialized events targeted at Bulgarian enterprises. They will also be published in specialized books, business newspapers and magazines.
