Announcement and Call for Participation
 

This working conference will bring together members of IFIP WG 3.3 "Research on Educational Applications of Information Technologies" and additional experts in the area of the application of HCI principles and methods to the design and development of computer-based educational tools. The conference is supported by IFIP TC13 on Human Computer Interaction. It will be a WWW-extended conference, in which papers will be available before the conference via WWW links; the conference itself will serve as an opportunity to discuss and debate the conference papers and summarize the results of the discussion sessions in new WWW pages. Based on this synergy, a hard-cover book to be published by Chapman & Hall will evolve.

HCI-ET will be followed by the Eighth International PEG Conference "Meeting The Challenge Of The New Technologies" which will be held in Sozopol, Bulgaria from May 30th to June 1st 1997.
