THE EUROPEAN IDEA

The European Day of the Entrepreneur is an initiative which has long traditions in the EU. This event is organised in the frames of the PAXIS Network (The Pilot Action of Excellence on Innovative Start-ups)aimed at dissemination of best models for establishing new technology based companies. The concept of this forum is introduced by EUROCITIES (Network of the European Towns) and the European Commission.

EUROPEAN DAY OF THE ENTREPRENEUR, October 30 - 31, 2008

Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" and Sofia Municipality the pleasure to invite you to participate in the European Day of the Entrepreneur. This year it will be held on October 30 - 31 in Inter Expo Centre, Sofia.

FOSTERING THE ECONOMIC GROWTH THROUGH INNOVATIONS AND TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER will be the slogan of this year EDE initiative.

PROGRAMME

In plenary and panel sessions the participants will have the opportunity to discuss challenges and perspectives in front of Bulgarian innovation policy, co-operation between academy-industry, good practices of loal authorities with universities and business. In the concomitant events special attention will be paid to ongoing projects and new possibilities for go deep in academy-industry cooperation for creating knowledge based society.

REGISTRATION

To receive materials at registration, please register by 24 October 2008. Late registration will be accepted and EDE 2008 materials will be distributed as available.


There is no registration fee.
