The BulRMCNet project aims at the establishment of an operational Bulgarian Network of Research Mobility Centres. This network is foreseen to be an integral part of the European Network of Research Mobility Centres (ERA MORE). Thus, Bulgaria is involved in the European synchronised activities encouraging and servicing the mobility of researchers (in academia and industry) and contributes to the further development of the European Research Area.

For reaching the goal, formulated above, the project pursues the following six main objectives :

1. To establish and put into operation a Research Mobility Centre at the Bulgarian bridgehead organisation which to play a major role in the researcher's mobility for the country and to provide information and services to mobile researchers according to European quality standards.
2. To establish and make fully operational and institutionalised a Bulgarian Network of Research Mobility Centres, composed by the bridgehead organisation, four regional and one sectorial Mobility Centres, and affiliated structures, linked as an integral part of ERA MORE;
3. To develop to a fully operational status a N ational Research Mobility web-portal , linked as an integral part of the European Researcher's Mobility Portal.
4. To develop, try-out and institutionalise good intra- and inter-institutional practices of information and services delivery to the mobile researchers and their families;
5. To implement effective mechanisms within and around the established Bulgarian Network of Research Mobility Centres for its sustainable existence , operation and development after the project end on a totally free of charge basis for the mobile researchers and their families;
6. To make the Bulgarian and the European Network of Research Mobility Centres and Portals a popular, utilised, and natural source of research networking, reference, and services delivery for the research community in general and for the mobile researchers, both Bulgarian and incoming, in particular.
