Researchers as Guides to Glory of Ancient Europe
The main goal of the project REGGAE is “to enhance public recognition of researchers and
their role in society and to encourage young people in Bulgaria to embark on scientific career”.
With a number of activities the project will try to convey two important messages:
"Research work makes fun and puts bridges over time and space"
and
"Europe cares for its researchers"
The project REGGAE will provide various opportunities to Bulgarians to interact and have fun
with researchers. It will focus on researchers in Archaeology and History, their professional
career and everyday life.
The project events will take place in several Bulgarian cities – Sofia, Varna, Rousse,
Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Sozopol, Kazanlak and Kardzhali.
A number of high visible activities will be designed in accordance with the target audience:
- for the younger audience: several competitions for paintings, photos, games etc.
- for the adults – a Music-poetry concert of researchers
- for all participants – guided tours in museums and old cities, exhibitions and a lot of fun...
